Supreme Court Overrules Election Reform in Vermont
This past Monday, the Supreme Court overruled election reform laws in Vermont that limited the gubernatorial campaign to $300,000 and other state campaigns at different levels of spending, saying it violated the 1st amendment. This is a setback for reform minded Americans everywhere as it is reaffirms that the ruling class is firmly in control of our state and federal electoral processes, even in a small state with a population of less than 700,000 people.
